Last Saturday 7th May, our two second classes received their first Holy Communion. The children and their teachers had worked so hard with Fr James for many months beforehand to learn their prayers, responses, songs and how to receive the blessed host. Their hard work paid off! It was a wonderful day and we were all so very proud of them. On Monday, they were able to wear their special clothes to show to others in the school. Some children didn't make Holy Communion on Saturday, but they were included in the celebrations too :-) Have a look at our gallery below to see some of the style!
