Beach Cleaners
Second and fifth class today had very special visitors from Flossie and the Beach Cleaners charity. Flossie, a girl from Dublin, who is now twelve wanted to clean up the beaches in Dublin and set up a beach cleaning group over two years ago.
Harried and kristina taught the children about what happens to plastic when it ends up in the sea and saw items that were over fifty years old. They children really enjoyed learning about recycling and what happens to discarded materials both in Ireland and Indonesia. Flossie will have a programme next week about her work.
