TERM BULLETIN DECEMBER 2018

Christmas Concerts: The school concert will be held on Monday December 17th and Tuesday December 18th at 7.00pm. Some classes will join the band and choir:

Monday December 17th Juniors Infants (Ms. Coffey and Ms. Browne)

1st class (Ms. Reynolds and Ms. McEvoy

Tuesday December 18th Senior Infants (Mr. O’Meara and Ms. Gately)

2nd class (Mr. De Roiste)

4th class (Ms. Steedman and Ms. McGrath)

The concert starts at 7pm and will last about 1 hour. Doors open at 6.30pm

Tickets are on sale from the office @ €2.00 each. All proceeds will go towards the support of Music and Drama in the school.

Cribs: Families have been busy making cribs and temples. They can be sent in tomorrow, Thursday or Friday. Prizes will be awarded. Parents are invited to see the exhibition on Friday between 1.00 and 2.40pm. The cribs will be sent home on Monday.

We are asking children and parents to make a donation with the crib. This money will be used to support the provision of bodhrán classes next term. We have received an arts grant from South Dublin County Council and hope to match the funding.

Christmas Hampers: The draw for the hampers will take place on Wednesday December 19th at 1.00pm – parents are welcome to attend. Please continue to send in food items. We appeal to parents to sell the tickets that were sent home. Please return all sold and unsold tickets before next Wednesday.

Carol Service: The School Carol Service will be held on Wednesday December 19th at 11am in the Church. Parents are invited to attend. The School Choir/Band and Ms. Delaney’s 5th class will be performing.

Santa: Santa Claus will be visiting the school on Thursday December 20th.

Kiltipper Nursing Home: The Choir and Band will be performing in the Nursing Home on Thursday December 20th.

Homework Club: There will be no homework Club next week. It will finish this Thursday until the new year.

Holidays: The school closes on Friday December 21st at 12 noon and will reopen on Monday January 7th 2019.
