Sponsored by South Dublin County Council and in conjunction with St. Martins Residents Association, the pupils of St. Martin de Porres N.S. planted daffodil bulbs around the school grounds and surrounding area this week. Further planting of bulbs around the area is arranged over the next couple of days.
The ideas behind the project is from SDCC to encourage a Safe Halloween - Bulbs not Bonfires scheme. This scheme rewards community groups for undertaking local pro-environmental / non bonfire orientated Halloween activities and projects.
