What a special time we had on Wednesday January 29th, when our grandparents visited us here in St. Martin de Porres NS. There was great excitement in the classrooms when our visitors arrived.
The grandparents entertained the children with wonderful stories about their youth and school days. The children were excited to show them their work and lots of classes gave them a lovely rendition of some beautiful songs. You could feel the love in the air. We can't wait for next year. Many thanks to everyone who participated.
Nevaeh's grandma (Yvonne) and TJ's (Teresa) came in. The children sang songs and had prepared questions. They got a real insight into what life was like for the grandparents in school and growing up. Really positive experience.
